Additional Training Information

All individuals in the training will need to have the following:

  • Laptop with Windows 10 or 11 installed
  • Access to Microsoft Fabric (Microsoft 365 account) tenant through their organization’s Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Participants should have appropriate permissions within Fabric to create and manage Lakehouses, Pipelines, and Dataflows during the workshop.
  • Access to Power BI Service (included in Fabric)
    • Power BI is integrated into Fabric and will be used for modeling, reporting, and visualization exercises.
  • Optional (for IT Setup):
    • Access to OneLake storage within Fabric.
    • Preconfigured data sources or example datasets provided by your team for hands-on exercises.

If your team wants to move beyond understanding Fabric conceptually and start implementing it practically, this training is for you.

Collectiv’s Microsoft Fabric Training is a 2-day, hands-on learning experience designed to help your team gain confidence with Fabric’s end-to-end capabilities. Participants learn how to connect, manage, and transform data; build pipelines and Lakehouses; leverage Power BI integration; and explore AI and real-time analytics within Fabric.

It’s helpful for attendees to have foundational knowledge in data analytics, Power BI, or SQL concepts. The course is designed as an intermediate-level program, perfect for teams who understand data but are new to Fabric’s unified platform.

Collectiv’s Fabric Training is designed for small- to medium-sized teams, with a maximum of 15 participants per session.This ensures every attendee receives personalized guidance and handson support from our Fabric experts. For larger teams, we can host multiple sessions or design a tailored training program to fit your organization’s needs.

Our Microsoft Fabric Training can be delivered virtually or in person, depending on your team’s preferences and scheduling needs.

  • Virtual Training: Offered as either two full-day sessions or four half-day sessions, ideal for distributed or remote teams.
  • In-Person Training: Delivered onsite at your organization’s location for a fully immersive, collaborative learning experience. Please note: In-person sessions include additional travel costs to cover instructor travel, lodging, and meal expenses.
